Frauds & Scams Advocacy
In the event you or a loved one are a victim or want to report suspected fraudulent activity, the center staff are ready to help.
If credit cards, payday loans, housing expenses or other financial barriers are keeping you from financial freedom, a professional counselor can help you explore options for debt relief.
Whether in between jobs, looking for part-time work, or want to make a career move, an employment specialist can help with your resume, navigate the job search process and work with you until meaningful employment is secured.
Remain living independently with the support of a money management specialist. Services offered include supportive financial coaching, budgeting, managing a checkbook and paying bills should these tasks become a difficult part of your routine.
When necessary to protect the most vulnerable older adults in our community from exposure to financial predators, a court authorized guardian of the person and/or the estate and regular monitoring are available to ensure financial protection and long-term economic security.
Cases involving the exploitation and abuse of older adults are handled through a dedicated unit at the District Attorney’s Office. This unit solely investigates and prosecutes financial crimes against older adults.
